Fix

Age-restricted video downloads work again

We fixed cookie sync so downloads that require signed-in access, including 18+ or sensitive videos, can complete when the source platform allows access.

  • Cookie export now checks for a valid cookie file instead of trusting yt-dlp's non-zero exit code.
  • Synced browser cookies are preserved safely, so a failed export no longer overwrites the last working cookie jar.
  • Downloads that need an authenticated session, including age-restricted or sensitive content, no longer fail just because cookies were missing.
  • We also blocked same-tick duplicate submissions that could create duplicate download records.

Improvement

More reliable downloads with cookie-first processing

The worker now uses synced cookies earlier in the download flow when a platform needs signed-in access.

  • Cookie-backed probes and downloads reduce false login failures.
  • Credit-only downloads no longer consume the daily free video quota.
  • Stalled running tasks are swept back to a clear failed state.
Feature

YouTube transcript and subtitle tools are available

YouTube downloads can now expose transcript and subtitle actions when captions are available.

  • Download subtitles when a video provides captions.
  • Turn available captions into readable transcript text.
  • Dedicated pages explain YouTube transcript and subtitle workflows.

Credits and Lifetime SVIP now work across all downloader sites

One balance now covers the X, YouTube, and Instagram download tools.
